Washington, DC – The Hungarian American Coalition (Coalition) is proud to support our member organization, the Carpathian Foundation, in its various projects in Ukraine. This past week, Carpathian Foundation donated its eighth ambulance. The ambulances delivered to hospitals and healthcare institutions in Eastern Ukraine, with the selection of recipient institutions guided by civil organizations and volunteers on the ground who are able to address the most urgent needs.

A civilian team, comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, is actively involved in fundraising, recipient selection, equipping ambulances with medical devices, and delivery to Ukraine. Additionally, this team has established a Fund for Medical Assistance to Ukraine, further supporting humanitarian efforts in the region.

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the Coalition has partnered with the Carpathian Foundation on multiple initiatives, including the purchase of one of the ambulances. We applaud the Carpathian Foundation for its unwavering commitment to this cause.
