Noticed in the Press – Oct 24, 2013

We are sending a corrected version of the New York Times article by Ms. Rachel Donadio, published on October 21 with the title:  "An Opera Fights Hungary’s Rising Anti-Semitism". The New York Times published two corrections: one on October 22 regarding a trivial location mistake in a picture taken of conductor Ivan Fischer, and on October 23, the far more substantial mistake of reporting a rising representation of the extreme right-wing party Jobbik in the Hungarian parliament when actually the opposite has taken place.

We are also sending a report by Dan Bilefsky in the October 20 edition of The New York Times: "Are the Roma Primitive, or Just Poor?". The article features Ms. Livia Jaroka, a Hungarian anthropologist who is the only Roma member of the European Parliament.
