The Dr. Elemér and Éva Kiss Scholarship Fund

Established in 1997 and renamed in honor of long-time Coalition members who fled Hungary after the 1956 Revolution, this fund supports Hungarian students pursuing higher education in the United States. Dr. Kiss and his wife Éva dedicated their lives to education and philanthropy, and their legacy continues to empower future generations of Hungarian scholars.

The Bognár Family Hungarian Scholarship Fund

Originally founded in 1999 by Dr. Béla and April Bognár and entrusted to the Coalition in 2014, this fund supports students studying in Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Serbia, and the U.S. With over $700,000 awarded to 277 students, the program emphasizes leadership, academic excellence, and community engagement. Contributions from churches, organizations, and philanthropic partners such as the Kilroy Foundation have made this possible.
