
Réka Veres-Lenox was born and raised in a small town in Transylvania, Romania. She moved to the United States in 2019 and lives in Washington DC. She studied Communications and Public Relations at Bábeș-Bolyai University in Kolozsvár.
Réka interned at the Hungarian American Coalition in 2017, where she gained insight into Hungarian American communities in the U.S. and worked at Marymount University’s Office of Development. Her internship focused on learning fundraising techniques from various U.S. institutions to bring back and implement in Transylvania. After returning, she launched a fundraising campaign aimed at building a fund supported by alumni donors.
Currently, Réka works as a communications and fundraising specialist for various nonprofits and manages the fundraising campaigns of the Hungarian American Coalition.
