Placement: Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), Washington D.C.: March 7 – July 7, 2016
Fruzsina’s main task at GEN was to do research on the entrepreneurial environment and startup competitions throughout Latin America. Apart from her work at GEN, she attended many lectures and conferences on various topics and helped to organize the Coalition’s 2016 Gala Dinner.
Fruzsina Tőkés holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Prior to the beginning of her internship in DC, she was a trainee at the European Parliament for six weeks. Fruzsina is interested in the politics and economy of Latin American countries and their relationship with the EU and the U.S.
I am very glad to have this opportunity in the capital of the United States – I learnt so much, and got an insight to the non-profit sector of the US. It has to be emphasized, it was a mind-opening four months. – Fruzsina Tőkés
